The default 600 square feet of vinyl plank with old-floor tear-out lands around $3,300–6,000. Materials run from $3.50 carpet to $18 tile per foot installed, stairs price per step because they are slow cut-heavy work, and subfloor repair gets its own line because that is the surprise most floor quotes meet under the old floor.
